Wigs

Synthetic wigs have come a long way. The recent advances, whether it’s machine made, mono filament or a hundred percent hand tied are constructed with such high quality fibre that most can’t tell the difference between it and human hair. The advantages are they are more affordable, easy to care for and there is hardly any styling involved. The style is “baked” in so it will hold the shape no matter the outside weather.

Wigs

Lace front wigs are designed with the hairline hand tied to a welded lace. This innovative style combines comfort and realism. It’s meant to blend with your skin to give the impression that hair is growing along the hairline for a natural appearance.

Toppers

Toppers can be used for thinning areas or to help create the look of more volume. They cover a certain area of concern, not the full head like a wig. Toppers are held into place by clipping into the existing hair. They are constructed in human hair and synthetic and are available in different sizes and colours.

  • I am Tina Cockerton and I’ve owned Baxter’s Wigs since 2007. I originally graduated from Durham College in 1988 with a Dental Assistant Degree. Working in this type of field, I further developed the important skills of patience, compassion, communication and organization.
